1) he got older. May seem like a stupid answer, but it's true. Baby's only 24. His voice is maturing. I'm very much eager to follow him through the years and see what we get. :D

2) He's been playing with people besides Pete. Again with maybe seeming like a stupid answer, but playing with other bands, producers, etc. will have a big impact on your confidence, and that'll come through in your voice.
