Rose was still cradling the sequined album against her chest when Pete opened the door and reentered the room. Solemnly, she brought her eyes up to meet his. Clicking the door shut behind him, Pete eyed her protectively, hands in his jacket pockets. He slowly approached Rose’s bedside, his eyes locked on hers and a serious expression on his face.

Curiouser and curiouser! Yeah, still totally confused and intrigued. Especially by the Doctor's reaction in this chapter- it seems like he almost recognizes her, though I might just be seeing things that aren't there.

I'm still modifying my thoughts/wild speculation on what's happening. I'm now leaning towards it being something related to telepathic creatures, with some people definitely being real, if modified, versions of themselves (like the Doctor), while others (like Reinette) are telepathic projections or creations mined from Rose's memories. (Unless, of course, the Bad Wolf or the TARDIS is freaking out, in which case recreating the whole space-time continuum makes sense! Though in that case, I can't imagine either BW or the TARDIS creating a reality that would push the Doctor and Rose apart...Hmm.)

Regardless of whether Faith is the instigator in this or not, I think her symbolism is less about her and more about Rose's faith- I feel like Rose's faith in the Doctor is the key to this whole mess. Like the heroine in a

I would *love* to comment on your individual observations, except I don't want to give too much away. Everytime I start typing a response, I end up deleting it because I don't want to accidentally "spoil" something x.X Which would be very easy to inadvertently do in this type of fic lol!!

(I'm kind of inordinately amused, though, that Rose is caught between the horror of the Doctor and Reinette having some sort of liaison and the horror of it not happening at all. Poor Rose.)

I'm really enjoying this story. At first I thought Faith was somehow orchestrating the whole thing, but she seems confused as well... I'm also interested in how you're going to address the physical complications. If Rose really had been in a coma for two years, her muscles would have atrophied, etc. I still think her memories of the Doctors are real, but have the memories been transplanted into a body that has been comatose, or did body and mind enter this reality together? Or did body and mind enter together, at which point the expected physical effects were replicated to lend to the illusion? Fascinating! I can't wait for the next chapter. :)

I almost feel like crying for Rose in this chapter. Other things though made me laugh istead like Jack Harkness as a DI lol and mentions of Nine being the other Doctor. Wonderful how you've included some of the other characters from Season one and two as well. I'm so intrigued to know what's going on.

I am very sorry for not responding to this for so long - I've been on kilodalton as you know lol, but because of school haven't logged in here to update fic in a while so I didn't know I had new reviews!! Oops >.<
