I've heard of people encountering the phenomenon of Bi-Location, being in two places at once. But, most of them involved a situation like the first on you described, when the woman was in the hospital. I don't think I've heard of people seeing themselves, except in the case of a doppelganger. Ususally that's a bad omen.
