my mom just called me to tell me that Texas Tech sent me a check for $800 (still opening my mail, I see). before I could get excited she said she called to ask them why they sent a check to someone who hasn't been a student in over four years. apparently, the credit's been in my account since spring 2001 but they just did an audit and mailed out
