I´m in Valencia now, in a much nicer hostel than the one in Barcelona. The other one was a classic youth hostel, full of loud, drunken college students (not that that´s always a bad thing, but it gets old after a few nights). This one is is much smaller, very clean and quiet. The owners are very friendly and have gone out of their way to make me

This is why I love you, Amber. I don't know that I would ever find myself in a similar situation. Maybe we need to travel again together & come out with the best of both worlds. So do you think your luck had more to do with your profession or knowledge of Spanish? Either way - AWESOME!

I really think it was a combination of the two. Before I said the magic word ´bióloga´ (´biologist´) I think the woman at the office was just going to give me some pamplets and directions to the observation tower.

And we totally should travel together some time. I know it would be awesome.
