I hate publicly-traded corporate FUCKING America.
Lucky me, I work for a publicly-traded company. Thanks to Enron, WorldCom, and all those other fuckers who have questionable accounting practices (and who totally screwed over their own employees), my job is a bloody nightmare. Almost literally. I can't wipe my ass without the appropriate supporting documentation and approval signatures. I'm sure the signing away of my firstborn will soon become policy as well. If I ever meet Congresspeoples Sarbanes and/or Oxley, I'm gonna give them many, many swift kicks in the ass.
Also, I hate knee-jerk corporate policy making. No one EVER thinks to consult with the employees who'll actually be affected by the policy change. Grrrr.
No small wonder that I wear a pin on my jacket that says "PEOPLE BEFORE PROFITS." Something my employer needs to keep in mind.
