Look, man, I'm caught in a loop of desperately trying to immortalize myself here, and then you're like "Oh hey, let me recommend your dead buddy as a person you want to connect with!" several times in the course of an hour, and that is not helping. o_o STOP THAT, YOU FUCK. I'll be on here all night!

I've AdBlocked all the Facebook sidebars, so no worries there; however, my sister is friends with a few dead mutual acquaintances/neighbours and I can say that it is quite unsettling. I actually had to block those accounts. I felt weird about that, but it was too much to go to her page to write on her Wall and see, "hey there, face of dead neighbour who I used to babysit!" And he was always there too. She has like 500 friends and he always ended up in the random sidebar list. Always.

Unsettling is exactly the right word for it. I've got this urge to change my profile picture to something completely insane so that when my accounts go grimly chugging along without me after I kick the bucket, people will at least be able to giggle about it. *g*
