Late Wednesday Thoughts
It's late but I felt the need to discuss. Everyone has said all the good stuff that I wanted to so I'll just move on to one or six notes of personal interest/grievances:
Thing One: Jimmy Olsen. *squee* Ahem. I feel bad that he wasn't that great. Don't put Jimmy in a corner like that! The poor guy gets enough shit as is! Was he not given a second chance to make things better? It kind of makes him sound cold and callous; come on, this poor guy needs a hug!
Thing Two: I had my eyes covered for most of the Alark scenes but was peeking out through my fingers because it was (as I muttered it last night) complete WB porn. Not that I'm complaining, I just felt odd about watching so much of it because it just went on and on and on.
Whoever the director/set designer of that episode must be given major props for the cheesetastic honeymoon suite and the chapel. That was fantastic.
And just like the purple shirt of Transference, the suspenders of Unsafe shall be known as The. Best. Costume. Choice. Ever.
Thing Three: Luthors. The scene was one of brilliance, I'm telling you.
Thing Four: Martha and the whole "we're disappointed" scene was very very confusing to me. They forgave him with the drop of a hat after the red summer where he wore the damn ring that he put on himself. Hell, he stole, cheated, lied, broke oh so many laws and it's the pulling a Britney Spears that pisses her off. Well.
Thing Five: Alicia? Stupid. Clark? Stupid-er. Seriously, who the hell keeps going back to the woman who drugged them, used them and tried to kill them?
Thing Six: The Jana scenes were painfully out of place. Nothing about them were sexy or felt like anyone on the writing staff had put any thought into them. So Lana now thinks that in order to keep a boyfriend, one must be sexually active. That's fantastic -- I hope every tween out there got that message. *rolls eyes*
Just a note: Clark, honey? Anal sex does count as sex, you are not a virgin, I don't care what Almiles tries to sell me.
"I'm a virgin too!" *giggles inanely*
Ah, SV. Just when I start to check out one of the pretty passing shows, you pull me around and prove that you're much prettier.
