Nice quote. I seriously need to read some of his books.. speaking of which I started re-reading Douglas Adams' unofficial last book, The Salmon of Doubt. Constantly finding myself smiling whenever I read it.
You should read the I,Robot series, they're excellent. I haven't gotten round to reading the rest of his work yet. I've only read half of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's guide the galaxy..but it was good to where I got to.
Which is pretty much the thesis of every William Gibson novel, in my mind, the superior sci fi writer, and the father of cyberpunk.
Author of the classic neuromancer, and well known short story "Johhny Mnemonic" (bad movie).
I don't like asimov very much. I,robot was a bit of a overdone story (when does humanity become synthentic/when does synthetic become human?), and I've seen it done better by other authors
I agree. Some of the stories were kind of bad, but I love the umm.... well "Molly" continuem.
Gibson Clearly has a special place in his heart for two characters, Molly, and Rydell, and I found rydell (probably screwing the name up) to be something dra, wheras molly is a lot more interesting.
