So the baby shower went alright.  We got pretty much everything we needed aside from a few things, but we have some gift certificates so we're using that to buy the stuff we need.  We've started on the babies room.  I think it's gonna look pretty neat.  I started work again yesterday.  I'm depressed cause I can't spend as much time with the baby.  ( Read more... )

Well, she's given us a few scares over the past few days and it seems that she has a PDA which is a lung disorder where this shunt thing doesn't close because she was born to early.  Normal babies have the shunt, but they close after birth.  so hopefully it will just fix itself, and if not, then she may have to take medication, and possibly have ( Read more... )

My life has changed so much in the past few days.  when we found out that I was having complications with pregnancy, it was like we were going up the ramp part of a rollor coaster and giving birth early was when you go over the hill.  From then on it's like a vortex....  I worry so much all of the time about how she is doing.  I wish I could spend ( Read more... )

Three nights ago, I went into the hospital with preterm labor, and had the baby at 7:48 the next morning.  Her name is LORNA SCARLETT FOSTER.  It's a very long story, but heres a short version.  She was 16 weeks early, and she is only one pound right now.  All of her nurses have said that she is doing very well for her size and that she has no life ( Read more... )
