  1. Does anyone know a video uploading place (i.e. youtube, dailymotion, etc) that will allow you to upload .mov vids? Although I already tried youtube and it uploads it fine but the sound doesn't work! *pout*
  2. Does anyone know how/have the ability to convert .mov to .wmv or .avi or something like that?
  3. And while I'm at it, does anyone know how to convert ( Read more... )

you could try typing "converting files" into google and see what comes up, that's what I usually do..
I usually just download a trial software which lets me convert things..

Idk about sites other than you tube ect but you could try veoh video..

Super! The site is kinda annoying when it comes to downloading it, you kinda have to go through a few pages to get to the right page. I don't know why they do that. But I love Super...although Super doesn't always love Windows Vista. I've never used it to convert audio though. I use the software that came with my mp3 player - arcsoft media converter. I don't know if that one is free though. If all else fails with audio conversion I just use Audacity to record it and save it as an mp3 file.

If I provide you links could you d/l the things I want to convert and, well, do it for me? lol I d/led the thing but it tells me that I don't fulfill all the requirements or something, like I don't have enough space? I dunno.
I have both the vid and the song so if you want to do one or the other I would love you forever! haha

Yay! Thanks so much!
Ok here's the link for the song: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QJP42LSB
(mp3 format if you can)
and this is the vid:

(wmv or avi, whatever, anything but mov basically haha)
I don't need both converted, just whatever is easiest for you.

I don't know how to convert .mov to .wmv or .avis; maybe the latest version of Adobe Premiere can. I have an older version at work and it only renders them in the timeline as .avis, it doesn't actualy convert them. I know Final Cut Pro can convert avis to .mov, but I doubt it goes the other way.

When I need to convert iTunes m4ps into mp3s is I burn the tracks to CDs and then re-import them into iTunes as mp3s, which you can set under preferences > advanced>importing, I believe. The reason you can't upload m4ps is because they're encrypted as protected.

I wanted to say the same like wakingbreath - Super converts almost everything to everything. It's really great, and free. And yes, you have to search a while to find the download link, but it's worth it ;)
