My Mom loved to do crafts. She knitted and decoupaged. Made boxes covered in sea shells. At one point she painted and even wrote. Somewhere in one of my storage tubs I have some of her stories, which I have a hard time reading because they are pretty smutty

I can't connect to or properly appreciate your suffering, but I think the ways you honor her and share her creations are lovely.

I love these! I do a lot of decoupage, too, but I've never tried the style of the top table. It seems so pretty and dignified!
I've discovered some old sheet music in the house that I want to try to use to do a table or chest or something. Any interest? There's at least an inch worth. I can send you some when I get back, if you'd like.

And yeah... No matter how many years pass, it always gets to you. I keep waiting for it not to, and I can get numb to it, but every once in a while, it just really nails me.
