I'm very close to selling my house. I have a buyer and a contract. The buyer wants to close by the end of the month and move in no later than Oct 1st. Their home inspector was here yesterday and so far as I can tell didn't turn up any issues that would affect the sale. I haven't seen the formal inspector's report. Their lender will also require

I am super relieved. The appraiser was here today. I'm nervous about this because if the appraiser's estimate is lower than the asking price of the house, I automatically have to lower the price to match (because of the type of loan the buyers are using). I'll know in a couple of days. There are still some last minute things that need to be done around the house too: outside painting (which I haven't been able to schedule because of the weather), getting an electrician to take out the old smoke detectors and install new ones that are up to the new county code, and calling back the exterminator to spray for yellow jackets again.
