for once, I call for advice

I want to help A&M. I love being an Aggie, but I have become jaded and disillusioned with its administration (let alone the too-frequent apathy of its students).

Below is my pseudo-mission statement. How the hell am I ever going to do it?

My mission, in all its un-proofread glory )

But what do you want to do about it?

I want to educate those in charge.

For example, a lot of the problems and failings with Lechner right now stem from the way its setup *did* work for more than a decade. No/few coed halls, bonfire, rowdy-as-hell on campus (esp. northside), laissez faire administration. A good fraction of the SA's and the JA were actually bonfire pots. etc. etc.

The tricky thing is that fixing Lechner (or scrapping it and starting over) involves knowing where it came from and where it is. But the honors office is woefully clueless of Lechner's history and current failings.

They're like doctors who've only ever watched MASH and ER. Sure, they know what the motions are supposed to look like, but they don't have a clue how it actually works.
