Would it be the stronger love the guy has for the girl? Or the girl for the guy?

i figure the girl's love for the guy, because love as i see it is not just spiritual, so it's like separating your mind from your body (what happens to prostitutes and children that were sexually abused), so the one question is about is girl's love for the guy

I think the 2nd situation is more correct. Because she loved him so much that she couldn't deal with the pain of him hurting her anymore.

im thinking of writing a short story (if i'll even have the patience) over the rest of the summer, and one of the plots im thinking off is a romance novel where the girl leaves the guy not for the pain he causes her, because for her it would be less painfull to let him cheat but still be close to him, but to leave him to show that it just won't do to do what he does. To tear yourself apart to tear open the eyes of the person you love. (like that would be the main theme), another plot i'm thinking off is either concentrating or just including the middle of Full Metal Alchemist if you've seen it

he cheated. if he loves her THAT much, why cheat? Apparently, his love for her isnt that great, or he could have stuck with her and only her.

i guess i should have clarified it, i meant the love the girl has for the guy, since there is no difference between the things the guy does in 2 situations.

i'd like to have the 1st but sadly not many poeple are that open minded atleast not around here. how strong a love could be really depends on the people. i myself see the 2nd person as somewhat of a coward, running from a situtation that can be worked out or understood. the 1st girl seemed to coome to terms that while the mans heart was devoteds only to her, his lust carried him in differnt directions. too many poeple make the direct connection between love and lust, thou there often is the connection it does not always excist

Situation 2 seems alot better you could put more into it.

i think its situation 2 as well, in the 2nd situation it forces the guy to reevaluate his life, his behavior, i'm big on reevaluation of your own life and your own actions. The guy in my opinion wouldnt realize how much he is hurting the girl unless there was a shock to his system. Maybe a year or two after that shock it might be good for another try which would go for a good story :)
