Recently, I have had sudden frequent sustained ringing in my ears. I feared I was going deaf. I went to the doctor. she said there was no sign of infection, but there was some fluid build-up in my ears and my sinuses were irritated probably due to the development of an allergy. She gave me some sinus stuff and said it should be cleared up in a week

Thanks for the sentiment. It was. Partial hearing loss runs in my family, but it doesn't normally start until our fifties. I'm just turning 31, so to have a sudden on set terrified me. I always thought I could deal with it, but to faced with the real possibility of losing it completely was something else.

phew. that's a good thing.
i've experienced something similar recently. My pee started coming out red/pink and I thought something was wrong with my kidneys. Turned out it was because of the beets I've been eating.
