You should check out The Ataris' "If You Really Wanna Hear About It", its all about that book.

Must be the most referenced book in all of popular music. It's one of those books, like 1984, which is the source of pretty much every pop culture reference. Which I also read this weekend...

Well that would clash with the general angsty-ness of this post, wouldn't it?

For the record, went to Leeds, drank much in multiple locations, danced, tumbled, danced and tumbled, and spent 20 minutes trying to unlock Chris' front door. Etc. There was singing as well, and people who wanted us to join their band (or we wanted to join their band, or something).
