San Francisco does indeed have a plethora of good gigs (and good gig venues). Bottom of the Hill! Slims! The Fillmore! the Swedish American Hall place! Mmm. I really miss the days of my teenage years where I'd drive up there for gigs several times a month, and be entertained by quite possibly the best tramps in all of urbanity while in the queue, watching 4+ bands in a night then not getting home until 3am with my ears ringing.

I haven't been to enough gigs since moving to Norwich, mostly due to not being able able to afford to travel all the way down to London all the time to see all the good bands.

Live it up in Frisco while you can!
