So I've started a blog dedicated to reporting and analysing my year in America, ostensibly for the benefit of 1st and 2nd year AMS students, so they can read a real-time account of a year abroad.

I'll still keep this one for witty, irrelevant asides and Snakes On A Plane related excitement (fifteen days, people! Fifteen!) etc, but for updates on my ( Read more... )

Y'know, we're going to have very different experiences - because Frisco and Philly are very different cities. Keep in touch, I'd be interested to see how you get along.

Nice one! You know, the other day I found myself attempting to 'justify' my blog usage (or lack thereof) whilst in Madrid to Johnnymatt over a pint of Canadian ale in Covent Garden. I have to admit, I was quite disappointed with my commitment to the cause. But then again, surely it's better to be out there doing awesome, blog-worthy things and consequently being too tired to actually record them than to have a blog full of nothing days. Right?

Basically, what I'm trying to say is; good luck with trying to keeping two blogs, but we (or at least I) won't judge you if either (or both) of them falls off the radar. Trust me.

On top of it all I aim to keep a proper, paper and ink, handwritten journal, to provide inspiration for my Great Novel.
