...It was one of the things I regretted not being able to do before you left. We had the talk. We got things out there in the open air. We did what we were supposed to verbally, and then... then you were gone. I wanted to have no regrets in case you left again, wanted to feel like I did the right thing while I had the chance. Maybe one of these days, I'll get the courage up to do the same thing to Schuldig when he's not running a fever and thinking I'm someone else.

In all honesty, I'd still quite like you to call me Herr Direktor. I was getting comfortable with the title.

You'll have to get started on the one in my study. Careful, though. It's nowhere near as sturdy.
