I found some old poetry, it makes me giggle.

let me share two with you.
the first I posted back in March.
but it's one I still enjoy.

Armada
Shades of teal and grey paint the rough canvased sky,
angry blue slashes from below,
boats clash, shredding the wood of their last hope for survival,
the pieces litter the ocean with the last of their livelihood.

Beneath the destructive surface,
an ominous silence stills the lightened water.
A lost rosary floats to the dismal bottom,
as the bodies follow, leaving their faith to God.

Thunder roars above the limitations of man,
trying to out scream their cries,
their deathly cries.
But she hears them, feels each and every one of them.
She is the mother of her people, they are her children,
she is no longer the darkness, she is the light,
The Virgin Queen.

The Sweet Serenity of Ecstasy
A sweet gentle kiss, a search for serenity
Simple touches of the hands,
Electricity sparks intrigued
Fingers intertwine, bodies collide.
Grabbing, squeezing, pulling, touching.
Sweat slivers down the curves of
The mingled bodies;
Pleasure emerges, skin burns
Passion illuminates the auras of the lovers,
Whispers fill the air,
Unspeakably sweet things, words mix
Love’s burning flame, soars flicking the
Night sky with its fiery tips;
Ecstasy lingers, gasps escape their lungs;
With one swift motion, their colours conform,
Ecstasy has reached its limits, and bursts with emotion.

Here you find on this mysterious night,
A shadow of two lovers, lost in the sweet serenity of ecstasy.
