These events are so annoying. Why can't they happen when I'm not having my tea?

palette fears only lack of tea, this is why we can't have nice things, tea: more important than you are, tea is srs biznis, this calls for tea

Maybe the mansion doesn't like tea very much? I know I wouldn't like something I couldn't drink, either.
