Two films I saw recently:

1.) Dave Chapelle's Block Party : Saw this on Monday with Sally, and she had the perfect description for it. It was life affirming. The movie was mainly about a free concert that Dave Chapelle put on in Brooklyn. It is really more about the music than his comedy, but he gets his jokes in. For the first half of A History Of Violence, I thought it was going to be a social critique ala Crash. What with the son's bully and the guys talking about all the hick town they were vising. I was actually happy that it wasn't. Too many of those movies nowadays.

I was also kind of hoping that the dude was some ex-marine brainwashee or something. I don't know if Ed Harris should play the Italian mob character, ever.
