I'm happy, too. ^_^ The affective response of enthusiasm hasn't hit me (yet), but I'm cognitively aware of being pleased. ^_^

So when are you going to tell me what the dramatic and sudden circumstances were that led to you flying off to Germany without a word? =\

It is an extraordinarily long story. I'll try to sum up briefly.

Actually, I just sent my brief paragraph in an email to your brokendragon account.

OMG, brokendragon? I forgot about that account. XD I haven't used it regularly in a couple of years. I will go read it, forward it to my usual e-mail, and reply. ^_^ Um... possibly when I'm not at work. XD

How are you able to afford to going out to lunch/dinner so much? (random question)

^_^; Going out with my coworkers, they've been treating me (despite my protests), since it's for my going-away. My old boss, Terril, is kind of like an aunt now, so she refuses to let me pay ("you're a poor college student" "you should listen to your elders!"), and my accounting department is paying for today's lunch, and the reg department is paying for Friday. On the flipside, when somebody else is leaving, I pitch in. ^_^ Like when Terril left accounting, the rest of us split the tab evenly between us.

Plus, I work, babe. XD I work full-time, and except for bills and the occasional stray goodie, I don't spend much money. So I have savings, and I have a regular income. During the school year, I make about $700/mo working halftime, and during the summer I make closer to around $1,200/mo.
