Look, she's a good speaker. But I used to compete in Lincoln-Douglas debate, and here's the thing: based on any kind of logical, realistic scoring, Biden wiped the floor clean with Palin. Absolutely wiped the floor clean. No question about it. The fact that people in this country actually think she 1. did a good job, much less 2. WON, is a sad, sad

For the first part of the debate I found myself wondering if she was in her own imaginary world where only she could hear the questions. Seriously, it was "I don't like that one, I'll ask myself another one."

While some people gave Biden crap for stumbling over words occasionally, he was thinking on his feet and he was actually debating. Palin on the other hand was repeating the same tag lines over and over and over... etc.

Seriously, could she say "McCain and I are Mavericks" one more time? I was so glad when Biden called her out on that point.

I actually think she made a mockery of the process and it shows great restraint that Biden didn't just tear into her. She's an idiot and I'm ashamed we have someone like her running for such a position.
