In a battle between karma in this life and willful revenge, always choose karma... she will treat you right every time and be far more punishing to those who hurt you than anything you could ever do yourself. Negative energy begets negative energy.

And then you get to take the high road, too boot. :-)

I like to see karma as just another way of seeing the other side of a situation so I embrace "karma" because it give me a better understanding.

Yeah, I can see that. For me, I've really noticed that people who have wronged me -- and I mean in a big way, like people who supposedly cared about me -- usually have not-so-good luck afterward. I'm sure it's happened to me, too -- so when I have a string of bad luck, I try to think about where I might not be living the best of my ability and rectify it. Because on the converse, positive energy begets positive energy. :)
