The New York Times reported Sunday that as governor, Palin appointed a high-school classmate, Franci Havemeister, to a $95,000-a-year job as head of the state Division of Agriculture. AP -- Palin reiterated her opposition to abortion rights - parting with McCain, who supports legal abortion in cases of rape or incest. Palin opposes those exceptions. Like McCain, she supports overturning the Roe vs. Wade guarantee of abortion rights.
