At 1:00 it was 55 degrees and sunny, warm enough to walk around in a tshirt.

By 5:00, it was 10 degrees with sleet and ice storms.

If you haven't seen it around webcomicdom lately, Anders Loves Maria is really good. It's a dramaedy about a swedish couple expecting a baby. Uses an offsetting but efective mix of a cartooniness and stark realism. Check it.

To greet the new year, I meditated on the heartbeat of the earth and said a prayer hoping for our people, our planet, to have a beautiful and joyous year.

Happy 2008 everybody.

Christmas at Nana's yielded an epic Christmas memory. My cousin Jeremy started singing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody to himself. My sister and another cousin started joining in, and soon every cousin parent aunt uncle and grandparent was belting out the ENTIRE song lyric for lyric, including badly vocalized guitar solos.
