I'm about 30 minutes into Harakiri right now; the mindsets of some of these guys are downright brutal. I'm kinda glad to be watching this before getting into Shigurui since the concept of harakiri seems to be a theme from what I can tell.

Apparently I'm going on a coffee date in 30 minutes.

Dammit, Eric's got me considering teaching English in Japan. I don't know how comfortable I am with the whole thing, but it would be a means to get there, make some money, study Japanese, look for a different job after knowing better Japanese and have an adventure.
