➊ He's my favourite character from the series. What's the most appealing to me about him is his dual personality; one minute he can be moe and clueless and like a regular teenage boy, but the next he can be a merciless gang leader who has no qualms about injuring someone. This bipolarity draws me to Mikado. *A*
➋ Kida, Anri, and Shizuo. Sometimes/maybe Izaya.
➌ Celty. Kickass!
➍ He's not some defenseless kid who has no brains, okay. Why do people insist on denying the existence of bosskado? It makes me sad. ;_;
➎ Like with every character I want to know more about their past. Just a short story is fine, covering his life in Saitama (after Kida left) until he departed for Ikebukuro.
IZAYA➊ Wellllll. With him it's...difficult, in lack of a better word. I love-hate him, if that makes sense. I like how cunning he is, using information as his sword and shield - wit is important to stay as 'top' in his world. At the same time it's because of these reasons that I dislike him; I can't agree with his methods and I don't like the ( ... )

oh i have a question, if you don't mind answering! where did the mikado/shizuo ship originate? i'm kinda lost on that one
HA HA i just hate izaya through and through though, most things i hear about him make me think he could use some more intimate contact with vending machines (or other heavy projectiles). i love to hate him though, it's really satisfying.
& don't worry i'm right there w/ you on the unpopular opinions; i wish more people would explore his cowardly/fallible/pathetic side (in a way that's still IC) instead of just having him be a god and troll and all the combinations of those words you can think of. or going way too far in the opposite direction and making him a totally helpless woobie...

As for the Mikado/Shizuo I think it's also from the novels, but I'm not there yet... ;___; I'll tell you once I'm more sure!
LMFAO I used to like Izaya...firstly because he's voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi hahaha (bias what bias), but then Mikado grew on me and replaced his spot. *__* Too bad a lot of my friends love Izaya too much... /sigh

OTOYA
➊ Otoya probably appeals less to me when compared to the shininess of Tokiya and Ren. xD He seems to be the most straightforward, easiest to read character, but at the same time it's hard to fit perfectly into his shoes and write from his POV. D: Idk~
➋ Tokiyaaaaa. XD And I actually like him with Haruka.
➌ Tomo-chan! Gotta stick together, A-class.
➍ He's too nice. ;~; Especially when compared to the other characters.

➊ So ~*~refreshing~*~...at first glance. Then I got deeper into the manga and like Sawako, I discovered he's just like a regular teenage boy, and although his image is the cheerful/boyish kind, he's really just an awkward kid dealing with puppy love. I like this awkwardness more. :D
➋ Sawako. :) Too canon, I can't break them up...
➌ Ryuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Or Pin. ;~; I can't choose!
➍ I don't like it when he deliberately ignores/avoids Sawako (or anyone else) just so he can run away from the present problem, even if eventually he gets knocked in the head to get something done (thank you Pin).
➎ Would he and Sawako just kiss already?!?! xD (FYI, no, it still hasn't happened in the manga. orz)
NATSUME➊ He's very calming, despite the unsettling fact that he can see the "things not here" and whatnot. I guess he's also pretty easy to relate to too; not necessarily the period when he didn't have friends, but because one might have been shunned by others for stupid reasons they didn't bother to try and understand at ( ... )
