Steins;Gate fic. You have written Steins;Gate fic. AU or not, it is still fic. Of Steins;Gate. I didn't know anyone on f-list had even heard of this one.
I love your voice for Kurisu, especially. And this line: "Problem-solving became her childhood, and nothing changed as she grew into a teenager, a young adult, and eventually, a woman." That's so perfect for her.
Selfishly I hope there will be more but even if there isn't, this is really lovely.
This one had been brewing for a bit since I finished watching the series, but I can't say it turned out exactly the way I wanted it?? Oh well. I'm glad Kurisu came out all right I USUALLY AM VERY NERVOUS about character voices when I first step upon a new fandom. orz
There miiiiight be more! When I'm in less of a block. :DDDD
Thank you for the commenttttt I was starting to think no one else would appreciate S;G. XD
lkjwflksjdf ahhhh your Kurisu!! And, oh my gosh, it's so perfect. The dynamic between Okarin and Kurisu is perfect as well. Just perfect. As always, perfect, darling.
Hats off for tackling this fandom, seriously. I love the series but it totally twists my head around with all the parallel worlds. I have to admit that the fic does feel a bit cut off but I adore all the science references, and the thought of tiny-bity Kurisu reading research report abstracts just makes me grin in glee.
Uguuuuuuu Su Lyn you should write for S;G too!!! I'd love to see your take on them. ;A; And this was written mainly to satisfy my urge to describe Kurisu's childhood. ja;sldkjfawe It's too tempting to not writeeee haha.
Thanks for the comment though. ;A; I'm not going to even try to defend myself about the abrupt ending, hahaha~
Re: abrupt ending - there's a way to resolve that. Sequel-sequel-sequel =DDDDDDDD
It's interesting to see how her father's death does and doesn't change Kurisu. That's the one thing I love best about her, that she's so steadfast no matter what world she's in. But I do wonder how Okarin discovers the microwave-time leap trick because he first found out about it when he texted about Kurisu's death the very first time, right? aka, GO WRITE MORE STEPH.
LOL I'll write a private fic for you if Secret Santa fics don't kill me? I'm a bit wary of stepping into this fandom because I worry about how it'll mesh with the game canon and I don't know what happens with all the Okarins of the worlds when the original leaves... does Kurisu of that world remember the meeting? Does that world's Okarin (with added knowledge) continue living in that world? Or does the world snap back to its original past once the jumping-Okarin leaves? I don't even remember/know if this is covered in either canon, color me confused XD
....Nooooooo. If anything, it won't be a direct sequel, but another "alpha world line"??
In this universe Okarin is...different LMAO omg no I just don't have a good explanation of this. See how many loopholes there are already??
That would be AMAZING...except I don't want you to kill yourself. :< I know work is already hectic for you and you have so many Secret Santa fics...hahaha. This is what AU fics are for! Your speculations, etc. :D
