I closed my eyes. I felt bad for even thinking that Bella should be in the clearing. I put Edwards’s anger, although he hadn’t voiced it, into perceptive. If Alice was being hunted I wouldn’t let her anywhere near where whatever was hunting her was sure to show up. I would hide her in the mountains like Edward was doing.
The self hatred I harbored fell suddenly into my heart and then I looked over at Alice. I felt her love seeping over, negating every other emotion that was presently pressing onto my conscious. My heart skipped a beat, metaphorically.

Love is a dangerous angel. I read that somewhere, although with all the things I’ve read in my life I can’t for the life, or non-life, of me remember where though. I always thought that if love is a dangerous angel then hate is a devoted demon.
I love my family, but at times I hate what we are. I love Bella, but I hate that I can’t be what she needs. I love that she wants me, but I also hate, sometimes, that she wants me.
I love Bella, and I hate Jacob. That line is so thin though.

They're the best memories I have of my lovely mother.
I love the smell of any kind of chocolate now though, because I can’t eat it anymore.

Edward could hear Jacob’s thoughts, they screamed at him, but his emotions ate at my heart. I loved Edward, he was my brother, but I felt for Jacob. I don’t love Jacob, but I can’t hate him either, that would be too cruel to the wolf.

I love old Nicktoons because they were just so much better then the new cartoons. Edward just laughs at me but Jacob understands what I’m talking about. I think Jake gets it because he also grew up on cartoons; Edward, however, grew up when they just started having sound in movies.
Some things I do with Jake I can’t do with Edward, like singing old Nicktoon theme songs and bashing the new ones. Some are okay but some aren't good and I hate them. I dislike Nickelodeon because they cancelled the good Nicktoons and haven’t put them onto DVD yet.

Self hatred was something I was used to. I wasn’t used to the love that, even after I sliced open her face and she recognized me for what I was, she gifted upon me. She didn’t make me feel bad about it, which made me feel horrible about it and pushed my self hatred over the cliff.
I traced the scars as we lay in bed. They were still visible, almost as though they were new, and I felt my heart skip a beat, in a bad way, and I pulled her up for a long kiss.

I toe the line between love and hate as of now.
I grabbed Edward’s arm and a small flash hit my mind and I see us. Bella isn’t there, and I see that she never came to Forks. It’s only a short moment but I see Edward and I and lips touch and other things fall together.
I fell back and Edward looked at me, his expression completely unreadable. I looked at the ground, my brain turned into mush and I couldn’t think of anything but what I’d just seen.
I’m not sure if I love her for coming anymore.

I toe the line between love and hate as of now.
I felt Jacob reach and grab my arm and I let him pull me back. I see a spark flash in his mind. Bella wasn't there. In that moment there was nothing, just us. Our lips touch and everything comes together like a missing puzzle piece.
I watched Jacob fall back and his thoughts mirrored my own, although I knew I felt more strongly.
I could think of nothing but the flash, although it might have been because that’s all Jacob was thinking of. I could no longer tell.

There’s something in her manner that makes me loath her with all the passion in my un-beating heart. I can place parts of it, although most of it remains hidden to me.
Part of it is because she’s human, part because Edward loves her. The latter part shouldn’t bother me because I have Emmett and I love him so very deeply. I know why I love her too. Her innocence was something I never felt I had when I was alive.
Emmett says I’m crazy for hating her. She evokes all of these emotions within me; I don’t know why.

"Your voice is too loud Edward," I stared at the reader in front of me. He was the one worried about the girls finding out. He turned and looked at me, hatred rolling off of him, though I knew it wasn’t for me.
"I’m sorry," His voice was soft. He climbed onto the bed with me and I used my powers to sooth him. He smiled and lifted his hand to my chin, pulling my face up to meet his. Electricity is the only way I can describe his kisses. We fell back onto the bed together.
