Hand It Over -

The rain refused to let up, it hounded and pounded on them as they walked. Bella didn’t know what they where complaining about, she was the only one it really effected. The rain fell off their skin like water running off of glass, except they weren’t a liquid.

The meadow was beautiful, even through the rain, or more so despite the wind and rain. Edward grabbed her hand and walked her over to the stump so she could sit. The clouds were growing and she felt the lightning starting to charge itself.

Emmett ripped Edward away, handing over the bat.

Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Marcus and Aro.
Warnings: Slight slash.
Author's Notes: None.

A Fire Inside -

"I can feel it rising Aro." Marcus finally said something out loud; the other members just stared at him. He felt their eyes but he just kept his eyes trained on Aro who was walking, pacing really, waiting for the storm to start. He was being antsy as he paced and Marcus wished he would stop.

He pushed off the rock he was sitting on before he grabbed, although he almost ripped it off, Aro’s arm to stop him. He looked into his eyes when their faces came to face each other. Aro still moved, but not away from Marcus.

Title: Hot Chocolate.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Storm
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Bella, Charlie, and Renée.
Warnings: None.
Author's Notes: Pre-Twilight

Hot Chocolate -

The windows raddled and shook and Bella hid even further under the covers that practically ate her body. Charlie just laughed when he saw her small form huddled underneath the blankets.

"Honey, I’ve got hot chocolate for you." His voice fell around the room and even managed to penetrate the blanket cocoon that Bella had put herself in. He laughed again when her head popped out from under the covers and her hair was all messy, like she’d been sleeping.

"Hot chocolate?" Charlie nodded and Renée came into the room and giggled at her daughter before picking her up. Safety.

Challenge: Storm
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Emmett.
Warnings: Slight Eclipse Spoilers.

Home -

Emmett wandered through the woods. He couldn’t remember which way was home and the storm, that his parents had told him he should go out because of, was about to start. He could feel the ground rumble under the weight of animals running. Home, he thought. He should be at home.

He continued to walk, even though he knew he should have stayed where he had been.
He felt something come up behind him and he turned before the bear jumped him. The rain poured down and his blood poured as well. The he saw her, she saved his life.

Title: Snow Angels, Sort Of.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Realize
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Edward and Jasper.
Warnings: Implied Slash.
Author's Notes: Nope.

Snow Angels, Sort Of -

Snow. It was really snowing. He hadn’t seen snow in forever, not real snow. (Fake snow was when it didn’t snow a lot.) The entire concept for ‘real’ and ‘fake’ snow had been created by Edward when they lived in Montana for those two years; he wasn’t good at explaining it however.

"Look, snow." He nodded. Even though Jasper knew there was snow he still looked because Edward had pointed it out.

"I just realized something,"

"Yeah what’s that?"

"I used to hate snow."

"You did?" Jasper shook his head and moved closer to Edward on the couch.

"I did,"

Title: Knowing.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Realize
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Bella and Jacob.
Warnings: None.
Author's Notes: None.

Knowing -

There are times when people have realization about their relationship with someone. They realize that the relationship with said person has changed. For the better or sometimes for the worse, but either way it had changed so completely that it cannot go back to the way it was at first.

It took Jacob a few days to realize that the relationship he had with Bella was different than it ever was before. He had realized it before Edward had left her, a broken shell, and he helped her become human again, before the dance.

Knowing was worse than not knowing.

Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Realize
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Carlisle and Edward.
Warnings: Slash in the making...
Author's Notes: None.

The Façade -

The constant visage of thoughts shielded the real ones that he knew would give him away. It would be a tragedy if Edward found him out, their relationship would never be the same, it would be tarnished.

He finally realized one day, after spending an enormous amount of will power wishing Edward could sleep so he could stare at him without being found out, that he couldn’t keep this façade forever. It would have to end. He needed to find someone, anyone, who could take Edward’s place in his brain, because every wave was for him.

"Carlisle, are you okay?"

Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Jasper and Edward.
Warnings: Slash
Author's Notes: None.

Unrequited Meets Requited. (Part 1) -

Everything came crashing down like a waterfall. The river that was at the foot of it all was like the Amazon River, strong and wonderful. The river that ran until it, at its crown, was like a mighty warrior.

I felt like someone in barrel going down the mighty river. I wasn’t really that close to either end, I was right in the middle, and I couldn’t stop myself from falling over into the strength that lay under me.

I was in the barrel and he was the river, flowing under and over me; on either side, in all directions.

Unrequited Meets Requited. (Part 2) -

He thought I didn’t understand him. He could read minds but I knew what everyone felt. You can say things in your brain and someone listening could never know what you’re feeling while you say it. I was grateful for my gift, every part of it.

"Edward, you’re emotions runneth over." He laughed at my joke, and repeated the same for my thoughts.

"You’re an Amazon, Edward." He just stared at me for a moment before his laughter rang clearly in my ears.

"Edward, I love you." He stopped for a moment and I felt his emotions flowing in angst.

Unrequited Meets Requited. (Part 3) -

"Why?"

"Why not? I love you, I can’t help that. Can you?" He shook his head but his eyes never fell on mine. He looked at everything around me, but he refused to look at me. I felt my heart contract, or it would have if it still held a beat, in angst and anguish of his answer, or lack there of.

He finally answered, "I love you too."

I knew my heart would have stopped, had it held a beat. He stood up and I looked up at him. He bent down and our lips touched; a little electricity.

Dance; Total: 9

Title: Remembering.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Dance
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Alice.
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Remembering -

She remembers, only very small flashes but it is still there, the memory of it. She sees flashes of a warm house on a sunny day in the middle of summer, although it could be spring. She sees brothers, at least one, and sisters, or at least one, and herself. It’s like a far away distant memory but she loves to relish in it.

She danced, once upon a time. She can’t remember how, but she knows she did before. She would have more grace now, if she had any intent to use it. But she likes to remember dancing.

Title: Realizing.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Dance
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Bella.
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Realizing -

It was sort of weird, the way it came about. Growing up and even as a young adult she hadn’t had any grace, but when she broke the marriage it just seemed like the natural thing to do, and she was sort of good at it.

She had basically danced into his arms; she was finally happy and alive, which was all he cared about. She thought that jumping like she had might have caused her hit him in a painful way, but he caught her, which was what their relationship was about; one catching the other when they fall.

Title: Spontaneity In Dance.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Dance
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Bella.
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Spontaneity In Dance -

It was a very simple dance. Or it had started out fairly simple but, she realized as their relationship grew deeper and deeper, that the dance became more complicated throughout time. Over time she wouldn’t be able to dance any longer and would crumble under the weight and guilt of not being able to dance with him.

She didn’t have to dance with Jacob. That might have been why she fell in love with him. He required no dance; she didn’t have to dance with him. He was spontaneous and if there was a dance it was marvelously simple, always.

Title: Fleeting Dances.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Dance
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Edward.
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Fleeting Dances -

There was a little fleeting light within his soul at this point. He danced with her, over and over, every day until he couldn’t handle it any longer. The fact that even her blood, the want and need of it couldn’t make this boring dance more exciting was far from delightful.

But dancing with Jacob was never dull, was never boring in any way or form. Dancing with Jacob felt like living again. Even while doing the actual and physical kind of dancing with him, he felt that he was the right one; the mental dance was just a bonus.

Title: Beg Me To Dance.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Dance
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Edward and Jasper
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Beg Me To Dance -

It was so very vague; it seemed almost meaningless to argue with him. Jasper knew he was right and knew that I knew he was right. I just didn’t want to do this with him. I could kiss him, and cheat with him, and hunt with him and everything else. However when it came to dancing, even with our grace, I still felt like a freak that couldn’t dance even a tad bit.

"Edward, please. I’m begging you." I smiled at him.

"Well, only if you beg." He laughed at our inside joke and held out his hand.

"I do."

Title: Want To Dance?
Team: Werewolf

Character(s)/Pairing(s): Bella and Jasper
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Want To Dance? -

"Do you want to dance with me Bella?" Jasper’s voice rang over the staircase and into the large hall and almost ball room under it. I just looked up at him, his face perfect and his blond hair falling perfectly to frame his angel face. I couldn’t help but do anything but nod up at him. He smiled a little kid smile and ran down the stairs. Although he almost jumped the railing, I could see it in his face, it lit up.

"So what dance do you want to dance, Jasper?" He lent down and lips touch.

"This one."

Title: I Mean It.

Character(s)/Pairing(s): Bella and Jacob

I Mean It -

"Do you just want to dance like this forever Bella? It’s getting cold and painful, you are." I stared down into her eyes as they started to swell with tears. I felt bad, but honestly I couldn’t stand to do this with her any longer. I was sick of the dance, tired of not being able to actually dance with her.

"You can’t really mean that Jacob. You can’t." I looked away but I could see out of my eye that her tears had started to fall down her face, marking them. I was the mark.

"I do mean it."

Title: Whose House Are You Haunting?

Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Rosalie and Jasper
Warnings: None

Whose House Are You Haunting? -

The couch was surprisingly comfortable, although that could probably be accounted to Jasper’s power more than the actual couch. He stood up and held his hand out to me. I tilted my head to the side before Edward’s piano come through the ceiling and into the living room. It was beautiful.

His left hand held my right firmly and his left hand snaked around my waist while I let my left one fall to his shoulder. He kept his eyes closed, but his face didn’t break from the smile it held. He grabbed on tighter and I leaned into him.

Title: Soon.
Team: Werewolf
Challenge: Dance
Words Count: 100
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Edward and Jacob
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: None.

Soon -

I wish that he would just say it. We were dancing about each other, but his dance was so basic and unsatisfying, as though he thought that passion in his style could break me. He knew I was strong, but I doubt that he wanted to see me as equal.

His hand was cold on my hip, but I lent into his touch. He kissed my chest and I knew I wanted to do this dance forever, however slow and simple it was. I wanted to dance a bit better, but I could handle this for now; He’d understand soon.
