I Concure, & Interesting; The Twilight Series; Edward/Jacob; PG - PG-13

I'm pretty sure this is just because I'm lazy. These were written before twilight-slash was started. These were written when there was about...one, yes one, slash fanfiction in The Twilight Fandom, and it wasn't even on LJ. I'm proud to be one of the first. Truely original. (Plus I was the first one to ship and write Jasper/Edward, but this isn't about that.) I bring you two for the price of none.

Title: I Concur,
Fandom: The Twilight Series (Novels)
Characters/Parings: Edward/Jacob
Word Count: 541
Rating: PG
Summary: Edward and Jacob come to a conclusion.
Author's Notes: The story that started it all. For Real.

I Concur,

His eyes shifted, but with solemn, as the werewolf padded toward him. The tree covered him from the sunlight over head, so his skin didn’t sparkle like diamonds. The wolf’s skin didn’t glisten like his own, and he felt a pang of envy before pushing it abruptly away.

"Bella is yours; she’s not here though...so why are you still here?" The question that lay under it was far more interesting than the question asked itself. You won, so you need not be here any longer. Do you have a death wish? Jacob’s brash way of dealing with the vampires who run around Forks and La Push was beyond animalistic. Though the Cullen’s where no long part of that group, all but Edward had gone when Bella left. They’d gone to Rome, he was going to meet them later that month; he’d cited things to do.

"They are in Rome now. I’ll be leaving for Italy soon, if you decide to not take the measures against me, for turning her," Edward’s voice was cold and he laughed, but the laugh was dead, its life had been sucked out when he’d watched Bella wither in pain for three days.

Jacob moved closer to the vampire, though he had yet to stand in the shade. The sun light was marvelous on his dark skin, and his dark-almost-black hair was very close to the same length as when he was fourteen, he bothered not to keep it cut. He was seventeen now, or at least Edward figured he was by now. Jacob’s age had always confused him and he didn’t bother with it. It seemed trivial since Edward was ninety plus years and closing in on a hundred.

Edward’s topaz eyes held something Jacob could not place, and he wasn’t very sure he wanted to, for fear of finding something out that was...right; something that would change, forever, his look of this Romeo.

"Are we stuck forever, killing each other?"

"If I remember correctly, I kill you each time, right, Paris?" He said the name with a coldness that could only be given by someone who was only room temperature. Jacob’s body heat radiated and the sun warmed him even more. He sighed and walked into the shade, he felt as though he would implode from the heat. He could feel Edward edge his way into his mind and took down all the barriers he could remember putting up. His mind was at the vampire’s full disposal but Edward stopped when he felt the walls fall.

"It was quite an odd triangle we had going on, don’t you think?" Edward nodded and leaned forward on the grass, grasping some of the clovers in the palm of his too pale hand. He gingerly tossed them at Jacob, the wolf ducking. Jacob looked at him, intently, his eyes burning with something out of place. Edward smiled at him, and their lips touched lightly, gingerly, and without the normal hard-ness they were both sort of known for.

"I figure that we’ve both been with part of the triangle, might as well be with it all," Jacob’s voice was soft and shallow, his breathing getting heavier.

"I concur," Edward pushed Jacob down into the grass and kissed him again.

Title: Interesting
Fandom: The Twilight Series (Novels)
Characters/Parings: Edward/Jacob, Sam
Word Count: 698
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Jacob saves Edward and everything changes.
Author's Notes: Evil Sam rocks your socks, all the way off. Totally. :3 The second story that started it all. Evil Sam is only funny because he's one of my favorite characters now, although at the time...I hated him. Oh, how times change. :3

Interesting

Edward closed his eyes, his brain working on overdrive. His topaz eyes opened and started shifting as the wolf walked closer to his mangled form. He wanted to back away, but his form wouldn’t allow it. His body leaking an insatiable amount of blood, and the ground was drinking it, unquenchable.

Sam stalked up to him, his walk was cocky. He knew he had the upper hand on the vampire; knew he could just touch him and he might, and probably would, fall apart. Sam smiled and transformed, Edward purposely blinked for a long time and when he opened his eyes Sam’s clothing was shredded and destroyed all over the ground. The wolf form making the vampire flinch with the pain that had been inflicted, and the thought of what was to be inflicted.
Sam growled, his teeth showing and his whole body vibrating. Edward could feel the heat of Sam’s breath on his neck as he tried to shy away from him. The wolf’s paw started to raise, his claws extending out toward Edward’s mangled form.

Edward had spent all night trying to evade the werewolves in La Push, to no avail. Of all the werewolves he had met from La Push, the only one he hadn’t seen was Jacob. He had been busy trying not to die to think about why, but now he felt thoughts of Jacob and Bella fill his head. Bella’s blood still held a sing-song tone even after the three days, and she kissed him when she stood up, as though the pain hadn’t happened. Jacob had attacked him the morning after it had started.

"You’ve broken the treaty, nothing can stop us from attacking you," Edward had nodded and when Jacob’s claws bit into his shoulder he didn’t even wince, but Jacob stopped after that, doing nothing else to harm the vampire.

Edward had showed him, he showed him the truth about Bella’s blood. How he could barely control himself around her, but when he’d tasted her blood the night before, he had no taste for it. Her blood still sang for him, but the taste for it, he’d lost.

Sam’s growl lessened and Edward reached, with as much energy as he could, into the approaching mind. Jacob, he thought, smiling. He coughed up some blood, his lips becoming wet with the crimson, almost black, liquid. His expression grew bitter and Sam backed down from his form. Jacob approached Sam, his wolf form shinning in the moon light splendidly. Edward would have applauded, if he hadn’t been dying. Sam growled at Jacob, but Jacob just controlled his emotions and turned back into his human form. Sam changed back too, but his emotions where still raging inside, Edward could hear them.

"What the Hell are you doing Jacob? He broke the treaty," Sam yelled thrusting his arm toward Edward’s form. Jacob shrugged and looked at Edward. The vampire holding his mangled arm, with blood shinning upon his lips and on the ground, mass amounts of it, his clothing almost completely destroyed. The young wolf wasn’t sure himself what had caused him to feel the need to protect the vampire; even after all he had done to him, to his life; even after he’d flipped his life so completely around. He somehow knew that, while he’d done it, he never meant for it to end like this. So he just trusted the feeling in his gut and went with it.

"He is protected. By me," Sam stood gapping at the other boy, his mouth falling open slightly. Jacob walked over to Edward and picked him up, the boy’s body weighing; it seemed like, less than sun light. The vampire had no more energy and fell limp in Jacob’s arms. Sam just stood there, watching his kin walk away with the vampire he was supposed to kill.

The treaty lay broken on the floor, Jacob was helping Edward, Bella was now a vampire, and Sam’s entire world had been turned upside down, again, like it hadn’t before since he became a werewolf. This was going to be an interesting year for everyone, the werewolves in La Push, and the vampires in Forks. Yeah interesting,
