After seeing footage on the news of people in Miami in waist-high flood waters, I left Jannette a message on her cell phone. She called me back to say that everyone had landed in Miami safely today, and that it was only a little bit bumpy when they were landing, because it was rainy and still a bit windy

glad everyone is ok!!
Turbulence is what makes me hate flying the most.
i did so well on that trip to Billy's last year,
but the way home it stormed and the tubulence was so bad
a stewardess fell down and got hurt :(

i would have thought by now Scott would know better by now,
hopefully he'll remember you DO have a sense of humor
but that subject is definitley not one to mess with.
it's like the people who joke with me about some things
i find rather personal (manic depression) and then act like i
have no sense of humor. some things are just not funny.

Your fear is not funny at all! I wish people would be more sensitive to what others will or will not find amusing... alas! I am glad you listened to your instincts though. No one should ignore those, unless one has no choice.
