The Kraken --that's its name, right?-- looks like it's finally stopped. It looks like it's just Resting though...

I'm sorry, every creature back where I come from is called a Pokémon, and I haven't been able to break that habit yet.

[ She's not entirely sure about the effects of her powers on animals that don't come from a place similar to her world, but it's worth a try. Plus... ]

[He's sitting with hands on bent knees outside of the building, with a dog's head in his lap. The dog is a golden retriever & doesn't appear all that hurt from a distance.]

[ A few minutes later, a straw hat-wearing kid arrives while riding a three headed bird. For a moment it looks like they'd have trouble stopping, but the kid manages to stop the bird a few feet away. ]

[ Yellow nods and dismounts the bird with a bag in hand. Then she slowly and carefully makes her way over to the two, trying not to spook the dog in any way. ]

Do you know where exactly Kouki's injured?

[Kouki's ears perk up at Yellow's approach, but he doesn't move from his spot in Rep's lap.]

There wasn't a blood trail or anything; I'd have smelled that.

I see... Don't worry, I'll try to figure out what happened.

[ Once Yellow gets close enough, she crouches down and tentatively reaches out towards the dog's head, making sure to keep all her movements slow but deliberate. Time to check if her powers actually work here (unlike with those fish monsters and the Kraken). ]

Hi, Kouki, my name's Yellow. I know it's sudden, but do you mind telling me what's wrong if you can?

[Kouki looks up at Yellow with a bit of a whimper, thinking first of three young men, whom he dubs in his mind as: wayward-faith, fairly-small, and boundbynaught.]

'They went away.'

[Then he pants happily a little with blinking eyes, thinking of the Pale Loner.] 'But he came back.' [Then he settles back in Rep's lap.] 'Had to hunt for him, but it's okay. He came back.'

[For his part, Rep isn't paying any attention. He's absently scratching along Kouki's spine and neck, staring off elsewhere.]

That's good to hear. Here's hoping you find those two too. I'm sure you'll find them soon enough though; those spikes are hard to miss!

[ After saying that, she turns to look at "Pale Loner". ]

I'm glad you two found each other again. But he's also looking for Bri-- um, two spiky-haired people. One of them has blond hair and the other black hair. Do you know where they might be?

[ It's good to know he isn't severely injured, but nonetheless, she closes her eyes and concentrates with both hands towards him. One light glow later, he should hopefully feel a bit better.

Perhaps she should be saving her energy for larger injuries, but Yellow's not exactly one to think of those sort of things if her powers are still working. ]
