*Toboe was trying to explore the ship again. Currently, he found himself lost in the caves and wondering if it really was a good idea to come down here by himself. It was dark, wet, and he didn't trust the fish he thought he could smell.*

[Those wolf ears will probably catch the added noise of feet splashing through the water from the stairs. It's not terribly stealthy, but it's not the happy splashes a kid in a rainstorm would make. Toboe has plenty of time to get out of sight if he wants, but Billy is moving pretty determinedly towards the upper right end of the floor.]

*Toboe considered ducking out of sight as he heard Billy, but decided against it. Hopefully it'd just be another passenger...though he didn't recognize the scent. But once he saw Billy he understood--they'd met at the party, where Toboe was human.*

...Hi.

*He spoke quietly, since it seemed Billy was headed somewhere and Toboe wasn't sure if he should interrupt.*

[His head snaps to where the voice came from, but relaxes when he sees the weird kid with the hand obsession. He looks even younger than he did at the party, and therefore even less threatening.]

Hey. Toboe, right?

[It comes out a little more like 'Toe-boy' thanks to his accent.]

*That was close enough; Toboe nodded*

And you're Billy?

*He wasn't entirely sure on that, since he'd been a bit distracted when they'd met.*

[To be honest Gertie thought she hit the 'thirteen' button. But of course instead of going to the best place in the ship, she was sent off towards the Caverns. Quietly a little girl's head peeks from the elevator-- and she'll stare around. Ooop. Just a dog, oh well. Maybe it was that rude guy's dog, who knew.

Stepping out from the elevator, she cautiously made her way to the water's edge.]

*Toboe's ears perked as the elevator door opened. He glanced towards the newcomer, wagging his tail slightly*

Um. Hi.

[After a long moment of staring into the water, she perks her head to the noise.
Whoa, it spoke. For all of those days being taught about dogs just being animals, this sure did prove those teachers wrong. Which kind of made Gertie happy-- so with a slight smile, she'll turn her head to Toboe and wave.]

*Well, dogs were still just animals, but wolves were special. Not that Toboe would say anything about it.*
