[OH MAN THIS WEEABOO HEARD YOU ASK ABOUT SUSHI]

Sushi is a type of Japanese dish involving steamed vinegar rice and usually combined with seafood or other ingredients.

[Audio] Mun is almost afraid to have him ask this. stray_cub March 29 2010, 22:38:08 UTC
Japanese?

[...you poor child.

Don't worry. Leo is here.]

A country from Earth. It's a series of very large islands, which is why rice and seafood are two of their staples in most of their meals. Sushi is considered both popular and, depending on the ingredients used and the level of presentation, high-class. On more than a national scale, too; sushi's recognized globally, though sometimes it can be something of an acquired taste to those not native to Japan.

Uh...okay.

*Toboe thinks he gets that, at least*

But why bears?

Sushi tastes better than it sounds. You should try it. The bears will make cooked or raw types if you ask.

I don't know why bears. But at least they're not seals, right?

I-I haven't actually asked them yet...

Seals....

*Toboe has never seen a seal. Just one big ass walrus. He can't imagine it even fitting in there, let alone being willing to make human food.*

I guess.

I haven't tried it yet. Is it gross when other things make it too?

It's always gross.

They don't even cook it!

Some things taste better if they aren't cooked, though.

*Like most meats, if you asked Toboe*
