Leaving those dearest behind
River's current like tears
Flowed on marble skin
Underneath the facade
Wounded heart forced on
Moving on beyond horizon

Leaving comfortable home
Sun scented bed
Warm soup and bread on spring
Refreshing salad on summer
Berry pies on fall
Warming stew on winter

Leaving memories behind
Rag doll beneath the pillow
Pictures hanging on the wall
Smiling faces of the past
Then staring blankly while dead
Bone China in the cupboard
Used in special occasion

Leaving childhood dream
Together raised as ladies
On seventeenth summer
Dance among grown friends
On eighteenth summer
Church bell sounded beautifully
For newly wed Oath

Leaving childlike flesh
Forced to grow up so sudden
Though not yet her season
Betrayal had brought her
Untimely hastened time
Hatred had brought her
Vengeful gaze exchanging innocence

Leaving her home
Which she's grown to love
In which she's grown in
Which world she only know
In which she left her beloved
Which cradle she's given birth
In which she hoped would spend her life

Leaving her only known world
Seeing only harsh road ahead
Looking back not
Grieving on what has been lost
Yet putting happy facade
Though vengeful eyes
Could not be hidden

Leaving on a horse
She ran on grassy lands
Beyond her known orchard
Gardens of Eden she called
For the similarity
She had read in bible
Beyond any charted road

Leaving in a hurry
Before those chasing hound
Taken to the unrightful owner
Claiming her Gardens of Eden
Killing the true dwellers
Piling the bodies under the Garden
Buried beneath what they care for long

Leaving under Night's Veil
Gently wrapped around her adolescent figure
Robed in night dress
Hiding her well from lusty leer
Nurturing the bird within golden cage
Wings broken and no longer able to fly
Yearning sky till her death

Leaving the grim fate
Arriving in world's end
Beyond Gardens of Eden
Even golden fields of wheat
Where green meets white sand
To azure oceans
Beyond eyes could see

Leaving the lands she knows and not
On a small ship
Sailing to new horizon beyond
Seagulls cried their excitement
Waves welcoming her to their realm
Seeing her off to unknown
Wishing safe journey

Leaving helpless evil
Could not grasp her in their clutches
Giving up while cursing
For what departed could not return
For time if of the essence
Not till the ship reached the intended destination
And to return once again

Embarking on a journey she never dreamed of
For days she count not
Only blues surrounding single black figure
Sailing on waves and wind
To land one know not
A big gamble for both sailor and king
For a pouch of gold

Embarking toward endless blue
For days she grown up in the ship
Learning things she never taught of
nor thought of doing
She taught them in return
what she learnt back home
A home she'll never return to

Embarking to new home
Beyond endless blue
Drifting for time only heaven knows
Seasons has passed since her escape
Exiled from her Garden of Eden
Seeking for a new one
was her only intention

Embarking on a new journey
Her season finally arrived
Eighteenth summer
She thought would never come
Of childhood friend she did not wed
Instead noble of the seas
Would take her into his bed

Embarking to a new life
The eighteenth summer on high seas
Church Bells did not resound
Yet seagulls and waves
Cried their happiness
Witnessing the two said their Oath
On a ship sailing to Promised Land

Embarking toward tomorrow
The eighteenth summer night
Countless toast of beer
The last good remaining saved
For the gay night
For the happy bride
For the satisfied groom

Embarking on a ship never sunk
The eighteenth summer night arrived
Countless toast and blessing
The couple went to their chamber
For a time only they know
Reciting their oath once again
Before loving each other

Embarking on endless journey
Vengeful gaze has subsided
As love melted her heart
Exchanging them with loving eyes
As she delivered life into the world
Wishing for only its happiness
Nurturing it to be tall and strong

Embarking on a seemingly no end
A line of green appeared on the horizon
Promised land they sought for long
Has appeared before them
The long arduous journey ended
Starting another struggle
Preparing proper home for the young

Her escape ended
No evil would touch her
nor her betrothed and infant
In the New Garden of Eden
This time made by her own hands
Peace come at last
On land beyond her horizon
