Prolog to Oblivion

Once a frail boy and strong willed girl

Living together in a hamlet

Faraway from civilization

Oblivious to what joy the world offers

Also to the darkest side of dear mother earth hides

The frail young boy

The one wishing freedom

Chained by family’s love

The craft shop he was raised in

Was his condemned fate

Through the shop’s window

The boy imagined

Vast emerald plains beyond

Azure oceans awaits

With songs of seagulls

He shall conquer all roads

The strong willed girl

Driven by revenge

Thrown away from her family

Out of hatred and jealousy

The girl trapped within

The walls of small abbey

Beyond the wall she saw

Streams of blood

Forest of corpse

With requiem recited

She shall have her revenge

Thus the stage was opened

The play of tragoida shall be played

The never ending adventure

The roman untold

The tale of the freedom yearning boy

And the revenge driven girl

What story shall unfold?

Oblivion

poetry, oblivion
