But, I like reading extremely long manga's, so I don't mind. (I actually just started reading One Piece recently, now that's a mission.)
As for fillers, usually they take up a whole season. So, just skip those seasons, like season 4 is the bount arc, it's okay. Season 11 is the Zanpakuto arc, though I highly recommend watching that one (it's got plenty of Byakuya pr0nz *SHOT*). And I forgot what other seasons were fillers.. l'DD
