Regarding being away from friends and family:

Truthfully, it's not that GA Tech will have less options, but that USC, as a university, will have innumerable ones. As well as the option (another one) to assemble your own major. Most schools have this, I don't know that USC does, actually, but they definitely will have more majors. I just looked at their website.

yeah its a huge risk and its far away, but hey you GOTTA take some risks in life so you never wonder "what if".. ya know?

Dont think about it to hard or too long

Look at me I had 9 colleges to choose from all through my senior year I got accepted in to all of them but I thought about it WAY to much and just said screw it since I cant choose yet im going to perimeter, best decision I ever made, it has given me time to think while I got college credit, and im almost done and i'll be going to Umass Boston. Anyways I say go with USC why? because its time for you to start a brand new chapter of your life and meet new and amazing people dont limit yourself to the friends you have here, expand. The friends you have here will always be here regardless of where you go. Plus there are enough breaks in college to come home and visit. Expand and start something new don't be afraid to start over because in the end it will all work out in your favor. Life is like a ice-cream, live it before it melts.
