The 30 hours of work I left on wensday that was due by end of day friday...yeah it was waiting for me. The people it was moved to didn't even touch it and it was dropped back in my lap. Along with 2 new projects as well that need to be done by end of day Thursday and in total are over 40 hours of work ( Read more... )

That bites. My backup didn't touch my work. I had Fridays & Monday's to finish today along with today's (24 hours of work to fit into my 8 hour day today). Not as severe as yours, but I feel your pain. I hope it went well, or is going better.

Well the other thing is some of the software we need to function on the system has been retired last weekend for newer stuff that is pretty...and can be more functional. But right now it is too slow and cumbersome...so what took 5 minutes before to run takes like 20-35 minutes, due to inefficent code.

shiny + inefficent code = makes me think of vista trying to run a 3d game with nvidia drivers = ultra ick.

I hope it gets fixed soon.
