Hi! Can I please add you as a friend? I mean, you list Lord Leighton (my favourite painter) and Rudyard Kipling (my favourite short story writer) in your interests, then you go and quote Leonard Cohen (the best poet and musician, ever). I'd think we were twins, but you say you're tall and blonde, while I'm rather squat and brown. But still.

Seriously, I like your journal. And your post about the boy you liked who went away to a different city, but about whom you kept thinking "One day..."- that broke my heart. I've felt exactly that way about a boy who went to the States to do a phD three years ago (I live in NZ). He's with someone now. I have no right, but I still feel kicked in the guts...
