It's been a turbulent couple of weeks as Nikki and I's schedule sorted itself out, and aside from that there has been a general quiet amongst my home in central Canada. The fall has fully set in, a somber yet calming grey descending over our city as the trees and wildlife retreats paving the way

Dan, I'm so jealous that you get to go all over the world for something that you love doing. And that you've been doing this for a long time now too. (I can't believe that you were going to all those places before you were even 20!)

Every time that I read that you're heading off to Europe or Asia, I remind myself that I really need to get there one of these days, see the beauty of both continents and experience it for myself.

Seems like a lot of people were catching the flu or cold bug in the past week, myself I was also sick last week, but thankfully was able to get over it quite quickly.

It's nothing to be jealous of-- Grab a plane ticket and some time off work. It'll change your life. Go somewhere with a friend and no agenda. I read what you do on your journal and it sure sounds like you deserve it.. :)

as much as I would love to just be able to grab a ticket and take some time off work, that's just not possible these days. I'm pretty far into debt that all my money goes towards being able to stay alive.

I'm guessing it's also where the "faith manages" quote is from, but I can't remember specifically where. ...is it from the same episode? :)
