Heh, it's funny that you mention the car. Nostalgia kicks in and I start remembering. There were a lot of good times we all had cruising around in the old Dan-mobile. Late nights on the Perimeter with Pet Shop Boys are some of my favorite memories of back in the day.

Not sure if it's what you had in mind when you brought up sanctuary, but maybe when you let memories come back, it's a form of sanctuary?

I love being in the shower - sometimes I take longer than I should 'cause I get lost in thought.. showers are nice places for thinking! =p

and we should be selfish in a good way, it's not nice being taken advantage of. =p
