Hey. Its quite late and I can't believe I'm still up. I went to see some live bands tonight; the first were shite and the second were pretty good and I'm considering looking into them a bit more. Think they were called 'Clacket Lane'. After the bands I went to a mates kitchen and ordered burger and chips, they were filling, pretty disgusting yet ( Read more... )

Crouch is a joke. I cant see how someone with such poor positioning and finishing can score soo many goals, if he scores another international goal I swear im going to have to kill myself. Cant belive some of the papers gave him MOTM. Shocking. I think Rooney was unlucky, everyones going on about how out of form he is but he had scored less goals at this time in the season both in 2004 and 2003 so i really dont understand it. I wont even mention the other 1st team regulars, ill only get angry ( ... )

I really rate Carrick. I really do. Best passer in the premiership. He's a different sort of player to Hargreaves and Gattuso (plus Gattuso is a dirty bugger). He's probably not worth 18million no, but he's been awesome for Man Utd so far.

Crouch is shit. i've said it from day one and i don't wanna get started on him.

Rooney needs games like Mclaren said, it'll come, hes too class for this lack of form to stay for ever. But as for Lampard and Gerrarg there poor form for England has gone on for far too long. If Gerrards playing on the right, he needs to stay on the right (like he was the other games) and not drift over and get in Lampard's and Downing's way. If you want him in the middle you've got to drop Lampard, they both can't play the same position.

Can't take anything away from macedonia though, they defended really well and i though their centre back was man of the match, and the keeper pulled off a few good saves.

Was brilliant fun.

If thats not enough proof for Peter Crouch to get dropped I dunno what is.

Problem is theres no english striker (other than Shearer obv) who can play with his back to goal which kind of means England would have to play passing football instead of the long ball game. And we all know that playing smooth tactical passing football just isnt the English way!

I agree though drop Crouch, I mean he cant even get in the Liverpool team and never ever play Parker again. He may be okay for Newcastle but was way out his depth on the Int scene. Blatantly didn't know how to play 3-5-2 either, was way too forward in midfield. He should have been covering the gaps on the mid/wings almost as a freerole player but he was leaving gaps everywhere being that far up the field.

Okay, vent over now :S

Parkers got to play in a four man midfield. So its got to be choice him or Carrick. With fairness to Scotty it wasn't the easiest game to come into, he was very poor though. But no one new what they were doing. Carragher and Ferdinand kept leaving Terry to cover the whole back line, Neville should never ever play right wing. And in my eyes someone else has gotta play upfront with Rooney. They both like to drop off (plus Crouch is shite). Johnson hopefully will be fit next time. I actually felt sorry for Lampard and Rooney this time, they kept trying to play football but no one else was up to it that night.

Ah well. Lets not dwell on it like you said. Lets look forward to Reading beating Chelsea at the weekend! Come On!
