starafar and I were having some doubt about the purpose of the comm since hardly any one comments, even to say that they've downloaded something from a media post. It doesn't feel like people are utilizing it as much as we thought it was, and to be honest, life is getting busier for the both of us. So we were wondering whether it was worth continuing, or

I comment when I'm taking something or when I think something is worth commenting on (ie, Howie looks hot. Um, usually that's about it :P). To be honest, my hard drive is really full of Battlestar and Torchwood right now, so I'm not downloading anything extraneous. I like the youtube uploads so I can watch the concert spoiler footage. So far the footage hasn't been awesome, so I haven't commented on it yet, but I suspect when we get better footage I will be more into it and commenting all over the place.

And finally, I just wanted to thank you guys for running the comm. I know how thankless modding these comms can be, especially when you're not getting much feedback on whether or not people even care about what you're providing. But I think it's awesome and I definitely am always happy to see posts from y'all on my flist, keeping me informed :)

I comment when I'm taking something. I don't take things often, but I like that there is one place to go when I am looking for something. It's nice to have everything condensed and organized. I think if you're already uploading these files for other purposes, then continuing to post links here would be helpful to people. However, if you're uploading and going to all that work JUST for this community and not getting much in return, then maybe it's not worth it for you? I mean, I would hate to see this community go, but I realize it's hard doing all this work with no reward.

My new fandom is taking up a lot of my time these days so I very seldom snag pics or footage but I still check up on the comm for pop_newsletter.

i usually comment on stuff in here, but recently its been alot of concert stuff, and im not watching any of it so i can be surprised when i see it live :)

i have notifications set up for this comm whenever a new post is made, so i see every post through my message inbox on lj's page. i haven't been downloading any videos, but pictures and new information always grab my attention, even if its just something to look at, at the moment.
