We've corralled a chunk of our adorable mice problem. The disgusting vermin are in a box. We have three: a larger brown and white mouse and 2 tiny gray ones that act like they're the larger one's babies. PLLLLEAAAAASE Let me take them instead of "sending them to hell"??? I have been raising mice for a long time now and have dealt with wild ones as well. Please please please please let me take take them?? I will come get them from you!

"She's right keeping wild mice is a bad idea. That looks like a deer mouse which are vectors for lyme disease, Hanta virus, and plague. Hanta virus and plauge haven't made it to Maine yet as far as i know but better safe than sorry. I've live trapped them before for a study and had to wear a mask and gloves whenever I went near the traps. You should take them outside as soon as possible and keep your face away from them and their feces.
