I wrote a story for the Maine Campus that I'm actually a little excited about. Not that it's particularly well written (in fact it's a weird return of my sophomore year smart-ass writing voice that I didn't realize I had anymore) but because I think the subject matter is actually interesting. That story was awesome. I wanted to say that this issue was one of the best I've ever seen, but because I had two stories on page one it would be sort of self-serving. But still. Even down to the layout, this issue was awesome. I wish this was the one kicking around for the extra week.

And the fiction zine is a good idea. I used to run one on the web that got pretty good stuff and had a certifiable rock star write for us twice. It's not super hard, at all.

the article was really good

i didn't get a "smartass" vibe(which i was expecting because i read your post first)

but i'm starting to think that the copy editors are slightly ..um... illiterate.
